Dear friends.  Having purchased A new power washer, was able to use it twice and it is no longer functioning. The Serial number is N 0704281377.
This was purchased at the Home Depot in Dublin, Georgia.  I have gone through each of the trouble shooting scenerous and it still does not function.  All hoses installed, electrical connected, and water pressure fine.  Pump runs, water flows, but no pressure of any kind.  Please assist.
Thank you

Just used my Husky H1550 for the fourth time (4 hours of use) and sure enough the thing died on me. Checked the manual and it recommends checking the plug cut off and appliance switch. No luck at all! I don't want to throw it because it was $150 and it's probably a simple repair. Does anyone know a repair shop in NJ for these? idguru@hotmail.com

I, too have a Husky 1550 power washer that I have used no more than five times over the past few years and I am experiencing what is apparently a common problem with the same frustrating results from both HW7usky and Home Depot.  Last year while doing my patio, it worked perfectly.  This year, however, it just spurts out in a small steady stream.  I removed the outlet hose and the problem appears to be in the pump.  I'm going to attempt to resolve the problem by replacing the pump unless the ost is prohibitive  Either way I'm disappointed in the response from Home Depot ("Just take it to any repair shop") and the availability of information from Husky (like none at all).  I will not buy another Husky and I probably won't replace it with a unit from Home Depot.

We have a Husky Powerwasher 2000s.  We purchased it June 11, 2011.  We were please with the washer.  We stored it inside the house for the winter.  When we tried to run it in the spring it leaked badly.  It appears to be the detergent suction assembly.  We went to www.huskypowerwasher.com and ordered the part and it was going to to be shipped free of charge as the washer is under warranty.  The part never arrived.  I went back onto the Husky site May 30th and got the message that "they are no longer the warranty agent for Husky but we are welcome to purchase the part.  It's a $17.00 part, plus $15 for shipping and possibly duty because we are in Canada.  I called Home Depot and got helpful staff who directed me to call a business that ended up being agent for Husqvarna, not Husky.  Another number was for Husky Oil and Gas....gas pump parts!  I finally got a number for Husky Tools and was given a number for Husky Appliances and then transferred to Husky Electric where I waited on line for 20 minutes to speak to an agent.  While I was waiting, there was the "thank you for you patience...yadda yadda .. and some advice to use the huskypowerwasher.us site to avoid waiting.  I hung up and tried the site.  They have "live agents" to can chat with.  HA!  It took 4 days for them to acknowledge that I made contact and another five days for them to send me a one line email inviting me to go RIGHT BACK TO WHERE I STARTED with huskypowerwasher.com and buy the part!!!   WE are FURIOUS and we want customers to know that Home Depot is selling products with useless manufacturer's warranties.

got out my husky1550 today. wont power on. switch to on, nothing, switch it to off then back to on, nothing. nothing, nothing, nothing. its garbage. home depot sells garbage then laughs at all of us. they know we arent going to make or break their crappy home supply business. what a scam this equipment is they sell. I heard the 1550's cost home depot 9 dollars and thirty three cents each. again, they laugh as they know we arent able to make or break their home supply business. hate it, wishing there was something we could do.

We have a Husky 1550 psi power washer  and water is streaming out of the handle uncontrollably.  We have only used it for a few times.  What can we do to get a replacement or get this fixed?

Had my 1550 since 2005. On / off switch failed the 1st year. I managed to work around it since. It's worked fine except for that up to now. On city water pressure it works constantly. Now I'm on a well and it loses pressure initially for some time. Thought it was the washer but my sons gas Troybuilt does the same. It eventually recovers and works. This year the handle is leaking at the trigger badly. There is a black molded plastic tube in the gun that is split. Has a part # on it but I can only find a replacement gun. No internal parts other than O rings.

Hi, my power switch doesn't work either after I replaced the GFCI plug. How did you work around it? I looked at the connectors, they look fine.

I have the Huskey Powerwasher 1550 about 5 years and it has been working fine until now. When I press the ON button, the machine started then turn off itself right away. Everything else (water supply, electrical plug-in, ect...) is fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Husky Powerwasher 1550.  I used it once and the next day went to finish cleaning the walk and it will not start.  Pressing the test button and then going back to power does not do a thing. The green light stays on. There does not seem to be any customer service to help with this issue, which seems to be a common problem with the 1550.  I hope Husky knows that there appears to be quite a few people complaining here and getting no help, which means there is going to be a lot of Husky 1550's in the trash and customers lost for the future.

I have the Huskey powerwasher 1550 and when I got it out this year and I plugged it in, nothing.  Tried it the next day and there is a sound coming from the plug but when I press reset or test it just keeps making the same sound.  Any ideas?

This problem with the Powerwasher 1550 is one royal pain in the u know what. So many customers with the same problem and we can't get the courtesy from customer service that we deserve. I will never purchase anything from Home Depot or Husky again.

Same problem.  It worked fine last summer .  Now the light  on the GFI plug does not light and the "On" button does nothing.
