I elected not to renew Good Housekeeping magazine and I received a notice from Sunrise threating me to pay the bill.  I am not obligated to buy a magazine I do not want.  I say shame on Good Housekeeping for sending this to the collection agency if that indeed what they are.

I do not wish to receive any more of these messages.

Sunrise is commonly reported to straddle the fence between "debt collector" and magazine marketer for a number of magazines, acting for the publishers to cram subscriptions or renewals through letters implying some payment for a subscription is owed.  They generally back down when challenged.

Send written notice, mailed certified, to Good Housekeeping that you did not order or renew their product.

Send a letter to Sunrise, mailed certified, that you did not order the magazine, and that you are disputing the alleged debt and demanding validation.

File a complaint with BBB against both Sunrise and Good Housekeeping, as they continue to play this game while maintaining high BBB ratings.
