Heat pump contractor

Found out the contractor who was assigned to my home problem were horrible and one person said he would rather wait in line at Wal-mart in returns than use them. Pretty much tells me what I need to know. I called and was told I had to use them when I said I did not want to have someone who may cause more repairs to already existing not working heat pump
