I just received a call from the same place. The number read 000-000-0000, so I knew something was wrong to begin with so I did not answer the first time they called. They then called me five hours later and curiosity got the best of me, so I answered. An Indian guy with a very heavy accent called and told me I would recieve a $200 gas voucher addressed from Arizona and I just had to pay $2.95 in shipping and handling. He also said I would be transferred to their verification line once I was done talking to him. I am very against giving my card number out over the phone, especially with the upswing in over-the-phone-scams. Once I heard that, I hung up. I hear a lot of people are getting called over and over again, I hope that doesn't happen but at least they have a very recognizable number!

I had the same thing happen.  They've called me several times a day for the last 4 days.  I don't know how to stop them, but I'm getting angry.  I even went so far (when he REFUSED to listen to me say "stop calling") as to tell them I don't own a car and don't care about their voucher.

I'm really ticked off, and I don't know how to make it stop.

I got a similar offer call today however I was lucky enough to evade him. I asked the person about his whereabouts and his company info so that I can file a police compliant. The person immediately disconnected the call... Yay!
