We purchased a King size double Bob O Pedic mattress. After a few months of an allergic reaction, we took the bed apart and found out we had bed bugs.  My husband and I never have experienced this problem before.  Contacted Customer Service and they are giving us the run around, they even went as far as saying"Their warehouse is so clean you can eat from their floor" What, is the employee telling me, my home is dirty???? Law suit should be filed based on all of the complaints I'm reading.  I'm contacting an attorney soon.....

    Soon after purchasing our new king B-O-P bed and our upholstered bedframe in September my husband and I found that we had itchy rashes. We didn’t put much thought to it, maybe it was an allergic reaction to the mattress, or something else. A month later, we still had rashes. We then thought of inspecting the bed… and to our surprise it had bedbugs in the back section of the headboard! Because we had the insurance from Bob’s we didn’t worry and proceeded to call costumer service thinking that this will be an easy fix. Not only that call lasted over an hour, she honestly didn’t have a clue of how to handle this case and told us that she wrote down our request and will be calling us soon. We then demanded that she tell us exactly when we will receive that call and she couldn’t answer. We then requested a confirmation number so we could track our request. Given this horrible customer service experience, we went to the store. They didn’t know how to treat this request as well, so… they called customer service. That’s when the customer service representative got defensive and basically said that this was our fault. At the end, customer service told the store staff that there’s nothing that could be done. The feeling of hopelessness and injustice was so great that I broke down to tears… how can this people get away with this?  Shouldn’t you protect your customer, especially if it is a threat  to their HEALTH!?

    Later that day we called an exterminator, after a thorough inspection and treatment, he confirmed that we had a bedbug infestation, and that the age of the bedbugs seems to indicate that the bedbugs were in the bedframe way before we even moved… not only that, parts of the bedframe were missing the manufacturers tags and had some weird stitching that very likely indicate that the headboard was not new. So… in top of that Bob’s Discount Furniture sold me a bedframe infested with bedbugs… they sold me a used headboard at the same price that a NEW one.

    I’m still surprised how a company of this size and that seem serious is so disrespectful to its customers.

    I bought a storage bed made of wood from Bob's furniture in March of 2015 by the summer we had bites on us every morning.  We didn't see any signs so we just thought they were mosquito bites but by the time fall came and the mosquitoes were gone we still had these bites.  Finally we decided to lift the mattress and there they were all over in little holes in the wood.  My son even had them in his bed from him laying in ours then migrating back to his bed.  Needless to say we had to throw away both beds and mattresses and buy all new bedding.  It was costly but we didn't have to exterminate the entire apartment because they didn't make it passed the beds.  I will never purchase a single item from Bob's furniture and I advise no one else to as well.

    I have just read all these message and I am sick to my stomach!  We bought a new bedroom set not mattress and we have an infestation of bed bugs that we just discovered we bought it in 4/15...I just happened to google to see if I would find anything!  My husband like others has an allergic reaction to many doctors and meds nothing with and we finally lifted the mattress off the slates and found nest in wood!  Exterminator is coming tomorrow not what that cost will be!  Ugh so mad!

    Do not order anything from them, I got a sofa set from them a few months ago and begin to experience the bite of ("bed-begs") in the pillows for your back more the else were..A few dead one on the seating pillows and arms. When I received this seat it wasn't in plastic. I will be making my clam

    Just bought a sectional on 05/2017 but didn't start noticing the bug bites only after it was purchased. A professional exterminator came to inspect it and found a couple of bed bugs in it. He indicated that they were in the early stages and would have to come back to treat my whole apartment. Luckily no bed bugs were found in our other furniture because the issue was addressed as soon as it was noticed. Let's not blame this on nursing homes and movie theaters. Is clearly an ongoing Bob's issue which they're apparently unable to resolve and still bother to sell filthy furniture to the public. Shame on Bob and his business. Is just sad to see that the complaints go on for years. I wish I would have researched this prior to buying the sectional. FOR ANYONE READING THIS =>

    I bought a sectional a few months ago from Bob’s from the outlet or clearance and for the past few weeks my husband has been getting red bumps and been itchy. When we searched our bed we found 3 bedbugs and then got rid of them and did not find anything else. This was two weeks ago. Then last night I fell asleep on the couch and when I went to pick up the pillow a bed bug ran away!!!! My husband and I spent hours searching every crevice of the sectional and we not only found adult bed bugs but also baby ones and eggs! I am disgusted!!! We were up all night. What did we do about this? This is not right!

    I brought a twin size headboard and bed frame from Bob's in August 2017 and I'm just now seeing that I have a bedbug infestation. This bed frame is in my son's room. Ugh!!! I called them and they are saying it's not their fault. Never ever had bed bugs until I brought this bed frame. I'm so irritated.

    Hello I purchased a sofa set in two twin bed sets February 2017 I recently moved out my home in discovered my couches in kids beds was full of bed bugs all inside the cracks under the couch where the black cloth covers the wood if anyone have any details about this my email is tabathamtthws@gmail.com

    My daughter brought me a new living room set a  month in a half ago. I was laying on the couch watching movies something bit me. I thought it was a mosquito next evening same thing. My daughter slept over and was sleeping on the couch woke up and said mom u got bb in ur couch. I told her she was crazy this was a week after we got the furniture. Last nite something kept biting me I turned on the lights and Google what r bed bugs. They showed me a picture and said how to locate them I did and seen baby bed bugs I believe my boyfriend collected some took them to the pest control center and yup baby bed bugs what's my next move I think their in my room also now. Never had this problem until this living room furniture came into my life HELP PLZ

    I'm having the same problem.i purchased a living-room set in January filled with bed bugs, Bob's customer care refuses to pick it up and i still owe in it.everyone needs to do a class A lawsuit against Bob's.

    I bought a queen size electric bed and mattress from Bob's for my client who is a special needs,and all night she kept complaining of things biting her one day we flipped the mattress and lots of big fat bedbugs were sucking blood from the poor old lady.i hear bad recommendations about bedbugs in Bob's furniture merchandise i came to prove it after the 3 day the delivered the bed and mattress. NEVER AGAIN I WILL EVER PURCHASE FROM THERE.People be very careful bedbugs at Bob's furniture. Disappointed Customers.

    I purchased a “New Bed” from Bob’s in August 2018 for my daughter and she found a bed bug crawling on her comforter.  We had the bed inspected and they were imbedded in the back of the headboard,  I immediately called Bob’s and claimed the spray their trucks and warehouses so there’s no way the bed bugs came from them.   I now have to pay for the treatment and deal with the inconvenience of packing up my home.  I’m beyond furious!!!!  Please let me know if there was a law suit.

    There are many ways to be infested with Bed Bugs; However, if one party says their mattress warehouse is clean and the other party says the Bed Bugs come from the new and recently delivered mattress, there could be a possibility that the Bed Bugs were transmitted during the transportation of the mattresses....in the TRUCK! Since the TRUCK hauls both the new mattresses and the discarded haul-away mattresses from earlier stops, this could be how customers are being infested by the BED BUGS. Although, the new mattresses are protected in plastic, the plastic may become ripped during heavy transportation causing a gap where the Little Buggers can enter. I'm just saying!

    Sold and delivered a used matress box spring infested with bed bugs also a upholstery headboard that was infested had to throw away whole bedroom it was confirmed by a pest control expert this was the source and only isolated to box spring matress and headboard and its foundation, i will be bringing bobs to court for this matter. Also have my complex as a witness. A brand new matress and box spring dont look like this!!!! And this is unacceptable also going to news about this, seeing your conpany isnt doing anything about it

      I just purchased sofas with bed bugs and they do not want to be responsible for this.  I see various post about this.  Has class action suit been filed?  What did you do about this matter?
