Good Afternoon:

I was originally scheduled to leave Istanbul, Turkey on July 26th at 11:25 am arriving at JFK, New York at 2:45pm.  Consequenly I purchased a theatre ticket for $40.50 since I was scheduled to be in NY by then.  We arrived in Istanbul around 11:00 am on the 26th which was sufficient time to make the 11:25 flight to New York, however, the transit desk agent indicated I would have to catch the 5:20pm flight instead.  As a result I was unable to go to the theatre and I had to spend the night in New York it was too late to catch a connecting flight back to Chicago O'Hare.  I stayed at the Marriott hotel which cost $82.67.  I have copies of my receipts that can be submitted upon request.

Since I arrived at Istanbul in sufficient time on flight #606 to board the 11:25am flight I believe reimbursement is appropriate under the circumstance.  I spoke with a Customer Service representative that indicated I should refer to complaint #7453056.
