Received a phone call from Card Member Services on 8/8/2012 stating that they could lower my interest rates on my credit cards ( who doesn't want lower rates) not saying my credit is in bad shape, matter of fact I have excellent Credit ... just was looking to pay less on the credit cards interest rate, so I engage in the conversation , my complaint is -After several times in my conversation with Card Member Service (Diana Wulter and that's properly a fake name) I repetitively ask if there will be an enquiry on my credit in order to move forward, and she repetitively answered " No, there will be no hard enquires to your credit" ring ding .... That's a big fat lie. I decided to check my credit the next day and what do think I saw ..... that's right a hard entry on my credit. My score went down over night , and I am really disgusted by that , it sad to say , but we live in a "NO TRUST SOCIETY" just thought I would share my most recent experience with the public and hopefully Big Brother can act in our favor and take up for action. IN BOLD STAY AWAY FROM CARD MEMBER SERVICE, PASS THE WORD, I WILL. I don't think I have been had , meaning they are fraud company , mostly upset because they lied to me about the hard enquiry on my credit. If this happens or a similar event , just call your credit card company and let them know, I did and I also am having new cards sent, never again.

Write our Congress and Senate. We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in jail, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved.
Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.
