I keep getting unsolicited phone recording from some sort of loan service, the phone # 714.682.8390... when you call it back, the phone never rings, then goes dead. Please stop this company from phone slamming and unwanted calls, and remove us from any list they might have.

    List your numbers on the Do Not Call list via the FTC.gov site, and file complaints if you get phone solicitations after 30 days.

    In addition, some states have tighter requirements.  For example, California requires that all recorded telemarketing calls be preceded by a human to ask if you want to listen to the recording.  You might check into your state requirements, and see if a complaint to your state AG might be effective.

    Area code 714 is southern California.  You might also see if the call complies with CA law, even though you are in SC.

    All the above are often not effective since there are a lot of telemarketing cheaters.  There are boxes that you can insert between your incoming line and your phones that block incoming autodialer calls, requiring a human to punch in a code in response to your message to ring through.
