888-293-4792 - Just received an UNSOLICITED, UNREQUESTED and ILLEGAL Automated Auto-Dialer Phone Call from "Annie" at "Account Services". She was calling to offer to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. Call offers NO Opt-Out Option whatsoever, which is also ILLEGAL. "Annie" also states that I have to call this number immediately to receive this special offer from them. Reporting to the FCC and BBB immediately. Yet another scam company violating numerous Federal Laws.

    And doesn't it just give you a warm feeling knowing they are illegally calling you to try to scam you?

    888-293-4792 - 6 more Auto-Dialed calls received from this ***** (Annie @ Account Services) just in the last 2 days! Contacting the FCC and BBB AGAIN! I have ALL of the calls saved on my machine from this SCAM outfit. If you get a call from Account Services, REPORT IT immediately to the FCC!

    I have dealt with these people before. they are either offering debt consolidation services or selling leads to debt consolidation service companies. last year I got a phone call from Account Services ( a fake name which is an automatic $1500 violation of the telephone consumer protection act). I played along, told them I had $15000 in debt and made up some fake credit card account #s ( the fake credit card #s have to have the correct first 2 digits which confirms whether they are visa, mastercard etc.). 4 hours later a debt consolidation company called me up saying they were responding to my inquiry for information. I played along, until I got all the information I needed to look them up in their states records to find out who to sue. I spent $150 to file a small claims case for $5000 and serve them. They ended up settling for $2500 4 weeks later. they claimed they thought they were buying a legitimate lead which is BS, but in any case the law makes them responsible for the illegal telemarketer who obtained me as a lead, which they purchased.

    Total time I invested was 4 1/2 hours.

    THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO STOP THEM.

    Just had one from then on one of our 911 lines.  Had the Captain call earlier.  I pushed 1 when Ann called and it went to dial tone.  I answered the questions from the Captain call and talked to Ben the supervisor.  Told him that I would refer it to DCI for investigation.  Idle threat that is.  Anyway told him he was impedding emergency communications.
