I fell for the scam...this number has called me twice in the wee hours of the morning...then later pretending to be a computer technician from an unknown caller. Can't believe I didn't put two and two together.  Didn't know about the scam until after it cost me.  I don't want them to see my name on this site.

I just got a call from the 2-342-345-6789 telling me that they (Microsoft) were receiving multiple error messages meaning I had multiple viruses on my computer.  I had fun with them because I was running a Mac Book Pro.  After about 5min of run around answers, and several tries to get my e-mail, I asked for their toll free call back # because my computer was in another room.  I have had tech service with Microsoft before, and they are always willing to give me a call back # and tech operator number.  If these guys call, DON'T give them anything but the runaround, a hard time, but have fun turning the tables on the scammers.

with authority would find the scam and stop it.

just called my house today 7-6-13 @ 6:46pm Their voice sounded as it was disguised by a computer device. They asked for me by my name. I said who is calling ? They did not mention the company's name and went on telling me they are calling to to fix my windows Microsoft computer. I immediately cut him off and said no ! This is a scam. Take me off of your calling list I will report you. I was than told [***] you. I hung up. You can file a claim and report any numbers to the government at dontcall.gov  This is what I did.

Received one call yesterday (09-12-2013) and one, again, today (09-13-2013), after 7:00 p.m., from +234-2-345-6789 in "Nigeria" (exactly as the number and name appeared on my caller I.D.). The first time, I was caught off guard and immediately hung up; the 2nd time, I answered out of curiosity. The caller, who sounded like a female with a foreign accent, said I'd won a $9,000 government grant, which was interesting, given I hadn't applied for a government grant. Needless to say, if she was legit, I just lost $9,000. If now? I just saved $149 and my energy.

I just blasted them with a signal horn, though it was probably harder on my ears, it still felt good!

I got the call on 02/06/2014.  A guy called with what sounded like a thick Indian accent. He said his name was Dave and claimed to be from Microsoft tech support. He claimed my computer was sending out error messages and they needed to connect to my computer to fix it. I immediately knew it was a scam and told them so.  He just said "OK then" with a little chuckle and hung up.

They called me about a month ago... Call showed up as a 6 digit phone #.  Same deal as everyone else. I have a Mac and knew right away it was a scam but played along with him a bit. I started laughing and he asked why I was. I said because I know this is a scam. He asked, "oh who told you that?" I said, "it's obvious and I'm going to get you in trouble." After which he said,"suck my d*** b****." How classy!  I filled out a report on them on the FBI's website.

Report to the FBI website or report on the Treasury Dept. scam website www.treasury.gov/tigta   Report ALL of them. The Treeasury Department did bust a group of IRS scammers just two months ago.
