Steve Leflar's new company is called STBDJS. He changed it after too many people became aware of his dishonesty. Steve Leflar's MO is to steal money and blame the victim. He did this to Thomas Schoenberger, Gig Xifaras, Shiela Groves and other upstanding businesspeople. Now I have learned he has done this to a man named Ron Israel. From several e mails floating around the music community, there is a new fraud alert for Steve's latest business STBDJS.com Steve is still baming Thomas, Gig, and now Ron, and seems to be unable to face just how many people distrust him and feel violated and ripped off. Below is a summary of Hot Houses experience with the deceitful and manipulative Steven R Leflar

Summary of my 2009 unresolved payment due from Steve Leflar
On January 9, 2009 I received a phone call from Eric Symons of North Bay Entertainment (NBE hereafter) to hire my band, Hot House for an event at Korbel Champagne, Guerenville, Ca. on July 11, 2009. On January 10 I received an email and contract from Crystal McLaughlin of NBE confirming all details. I mailed a signed copy of this contract to NBE, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca. 94519-1514. We were to be paid $2000 for our performance. The contract was signed by Steve Leflar, owner of NBE and Star Sounds Productions, also at 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
On July 11 Hot House performed at the wine club Speakeasy/Grapevine Swing event at Korbel. All went well with no problems of any kind.
On July 13 in accordance with the contract I emailed a summary of the completed event to artists@northbayentertainment.com.
After a few weeks I began to inquire about payment. Mr. Symons would always promise I would be paid, as late as October. Ms. McLaughlin claimed she no longer worked for NBE. Mr. Leflar claimed not to own NBE and tried to blame the debt on NBE’s previous owner Thomas Schoenberger. I contacted Mr. Schoenberger and he assured me NBE’s ownership was held by Mr. Leflar. I also contacted Julie Williams, Korbel’s Hopsitality Director. She mailed me photocopies of her contract – with Mr. Leflar’s signature - and both of Korbel’s deposit and balance checks for the event, all of which had been mailed to NBE/Steve Leflar, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
As of this writing I remain unpaid by Steve Leflar.

Steve Leflar is hated and is considered a pathological liar
He also secured the services of Allegra Entertainment to provide expensive lighting for a concert by Chris Botti. LeFlar collected $20,000 and never paid Allegra for doing the work.
He ripped off Thomas Schoenberger for $150,000. Many DJs and live bands have been ripped off by LeFlar & Symons.
LeFlar (so far) has lost 2 court cases for non payment of expensive live bands.
When Star Sounds got exposed, he changed the name to Simply The Best Entertainment and installed his employee, Eric Symons, and "owner" in order to hide his identity. He then went further by creating an alias, "Steve McArthur", for himself.
Do NOT do business with Simply The Best Entertainment, or any company that Steve LeFlar aka Steve McArthur is involved with.
He had me fooled for awhile. He's still taking money and not paying what he owes.
They laugh about it. I got sick of the lies and screwing innocent people over. LeFlar and Symons are slime and I will testify in court against them if asked.
I see that they are now using DJ SRL as their name. I think that's 5 name changes in 4 years.

This person Julie Ross never worked for us. She was Thomas Schoenber's mistress and still is.
Leflar keeps changing the name of his company to try to hide his criminal reputation: "Steven's Music", "Star Sounds Productions", "North Bay Entertainment", "Simply The Best Entertainment", "STB DJs", "DJ SRL" are ALL the same con man, Steven Leflar. In the past he had used "Steven McArthur" as an alias to hide his identity.
Avoid ALL of the above "businesses", especially "Simply The Best Entertainment" and "Steven's Music" (these 2 have active web sites still up) Leflar uses 2 friends of his to pose as "owners" of his companies in an effort to hide his affiliation with them. He works most of his scams in the Napa, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Cotati, Sonoma areas, of northern California.
