Won't stop calling wanted credit card number and it costs me 2.00+ sounds fishy

    I had a prepaid card with me so I gave them that number and they said they needed a real card, which makes me think that they would keep charging me.

    It's a scam.  You are right to not disclose anything to them.
    If you have, immediately contact your bank to block the card number.
    Hang up, and report Do Not Call and attempted fraud violations to FTC.

    Probably Central Rewards, a fraudulent telemarketer operating out of a call center in India.  They commonly claim they are "in Phoenix", and run various "voucher" scams, supposedly for "only $2" or so.

    Although they claim they are only going to charge you "$2", that will quickly turn into about $30 to $60 a month, or they might try to extort around $400 to $600 if they are targetting you for their "magazine subscription" scam.

    They are liars and con artists.
