iOor Tries To Collect For Rogers UnCrimped Coaxial Cables
Complaint
Former Rogers Customer
Country: Canada
We have Coaxial Cables installed by Rogers Cable that have ends that were
never crimped. Crimped means securing the outer braided sheilding around the connector so the signal isn't lost, a common procedure used when installing
your standard cable TV. We saved these cables and will provide photos online at various complaint websites. Since Rogers would not address our problems in 2003, we didn't pay the last bill. Also we had taxi and message center signals coming through our TV on channels 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 through-out this period in 2003. A third party cable TV company working for Rogers said that Rogers would never pay the $100,000.00 to replace a main trunk cable in the ottawa area to stop this interferance. That was the end of us and Rogers cable. Rogers still sends letters offering great deals to us (It's former customers) but they have also sent a small unpaid bill to IQOR for collections. And this stupid IQOR (former CBCL) have been driving us nuts for at least 6 years now. Can you believe this?
