I have had direct tv for about 6 yrs. On July 24, 2017 my service was due to be cancelled. I wanted it to be turned off..
But direct tv allowed someone who had no authorization to use my account information to pay my bill over the phone.. They took money out of my bank account without authorization..This is stealing in my book..
Called them and spoke with a supervisor, which was a joke he was no help at all..
He said that they used my information to pay the bill, which I guess in his eyes was okay..NOT IN MY BOOK!!!!
I asked to hear the recording and he told me there was not one..
So I have had to go to the bank and change all of my information. I am in the process of trying to get my money back at this time. I have cancelled my services with direct tv and will not every use them again..
They should have more security in place for these types of problems..
