At least once a week, a diffetent petson calls my Google Voice number and says that they are returning my multiple phone calls. Sometimes they even claim that I have been harassing them by calling and hanging up over and over again. They know my full name when they leave a message. The thing is, since I have gotten the Google Voice never, I have never used it. It happens too often for Otto be a misdial.

    I ported  my phone number that I had for over 10 years to Google Voice. All was working well until the last year sometime, Calls to that number began to ring through to different people and companies other than me. First it was a some individual, then a nursing home, now United Van Lines. When I call the number I get my own voice mail. So the switching service knows its my inbound call - the same number to where Google voice should be routing calls, but it doesn't. I've asked resolution on a number of their forums with no  response, and no confirmation email that my message was ever received. Google Voice has become yet one more ugly hi-tech black box. The true downside is that that was my main business phone line. It;'snow not; it's been commandeered and given out to someone else by Google or another provider, Truly the pits as any past business associates wanting to connect with me will think I'm out of business. My family now calls my cell phone - a new number and one I would never port to Google. If anyone is considering a class action suit please sign me up!
