I have a strange phenomenon. Sometimes when getting a call, I do not see ANY caller ID information. NO DATE, NO TIME, NO CALlER TEXT, NO NUMBER. After the caller leaves a message, the call cannot be traced back on the caller ID. For Example: My employer called, but got no caller ID info to screen with. The caller ID said "incoming call" and the machine picked up after 4 rings. I found it was my employer. The employer is also a "Buckeye Tel" customer.

I understand other "Buckeye Tel" people see the same thing.

Problem being, "Buckeye Tel" is doing very little to check into the problem. I called and spoke to someone on the 16th, person being "DOROTHIA", and got the run around and nobody wanted to check switch records. I was also told that the Phone IT dept. had no problems.

Someone named "RJ" put in a ticket for the issue, but did not get a call back, within 2 days, as promised by RJ.  (they gave me a free month... yippee, I get an extra month of potential problems!)

If it wasn't bad enough to be on hold 44 minutes, call back again and talk to someone in another department to get the job done.

"Buckeye Cablesystem" was a hackjob, now "Buckeye Tel" is too. I shouldn't bother utilizing them as a local phone service to Ohio or small portions of Michigan.

The issue I had started a while ago, when I joined "Buckeye" from the old AT&T/SBC/Ameritech, who blew me off completely, as with most other folks.


"BUCKEYE", You are a joke and a disservice to Toledo, Port Clinton and SE Michigan!
