They wanted to lower interest rates on my credit card, they had numbers and i foolishly gave them my other card info. i was half asleep and have been sick. i told them i decided i don't want it that it must be a scam. now i am really worried. should i call my card companies? i hung up before they asked about paying them, they called me back i told them i didn't want it but i'm worried they have my info?

I constantly get calls from credit card services visa/mastercard. They come from my area code with my prefix, just a different last 4. Its the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER. You can't get rid of these low life companies who pray on unsuspecting individuals, particularly the elderly. I have used the "press ___ to be removed" so many times I can't count them. I have also talked to someone numerous times. I had one person (heavy foreign accented male) say "why do you want to be removed?" There's no point in trying to block the number because they just call from a different one. I want to know why the government can't do something about these calls.

My favorite response is to tell them that since they have all my info, they can read the account numbers and other info back to me and I will then verify it. I also challenge their statement that I am overpaying a little some months. I agree with harassing them back. The longer you talk is the less time they have to find a sucker.

I get a call almost every day from these guys and every time i just string them along with false information until they ask for my card number.  thats when i say ok hold on let me find it and just make them wait for a few min.  when they finally ask "Hello? are you still there?"  I say yes thank you for letting me waist your time today i look froward to hearing from you again tomorrow so i can waist even more of your time.  this is when they usually cuss me out. and i say keep calling me im sadistic, pissing you off brings me pleasure.

i think its time for me to take it to the next level... next time they call i will give them false information as normal but speak so quietly they will turn up their volume to try to hear me and then i will yell as loud and long as i can into the phone.  with any luck i will make their ears ring.
