Chase Freedom Credit Card Sucks!

I've read similar story relating to my compliant - credit card company charged late fees of $39 for payment they've received and unable to waive my late fee. in addition, my 0%APR promotal rate was removed and replaced with 9.99% because of the late fee (which I've made my payment, but got posted to the same billing cycle). Customer reps and supervisor unable to remove the late fee (even for outstanding/good customers) who never have a mis-payments or late payments.

This is not a good credit card company to sign up for - speaking from experience - other credit cards companies such as discover, citi card, AX are able to remove/waived the late fees for you (if you are a good customer). I just don't understand why Chase Freedom can't waive the late fee? - If they continue to do business like this, i'm sure they'll lose all their customers - starting with me. I'm closing my account! It's not about the $39 (well, maybe it is) but it's also about good business practice and satisfying the customers!!!

    Mr. Ex Chase Freedom Card
Chase has been robbing me monthly on all these BS Purchase Charge fees, Balance Transfer Fees, and of course ID protection. I am paying approx. $120.00 monthly to these "Freedom Thugs," and it's pissin' me off!!! Just try and talk to them about lowering your APR and you'll be transfered til the day you die! Or they'll put you on hold, while listening to music that's playing out-of-sink   ... I'm thinking on purpose, so you reach a point where you can't take it anymore and hang up waiting for your next desk jockey that's also not going to help you solve a damn thing! Yes, I incurred the debt, but I also beleive they are taking advantage of my perfect credit to make up for others who don't pay their debt. You know, someone has to make up for their loss.
Anyway, stay clear of the "Freedom Thugs" credit card. In the beggining, they'll reel you in, only to take advantage of you down the road.

Can not wait to transfer this card or pay it off!!!
    Sincerely,
    Mr. Ex Chase Freedom Card

Chase Freedom Credit Cards suck, I closed my account and paid it off, then they charge me an interest charge (which the interest rate is 29.99% which no matter what, they can not lower) and then a late fee? And paid that, I now they said I have another interest charge from the other interest charge? and that I'll probably get 1-2 more bills from them after I pay it because they add their interest after the due date. Every time I cal so I can pay it off and be done they say there is nothing they can do. Why do they have customer service if they don't do it? Even when my account was open every time I called it was the same responses to every thing, they can't do this, they can't help, so why are they there? They are just greedy [***] who don't care about you. I've never had this much problems with any other credit card company.
    I hate Chase!

The best way to deal with these kinds of problems is to cut up your cards so you won't use them anymore, and then close the accounts once you've paid the balance.  Credit cards companies are modern day slave masters.  To really "chase freedom," tell them to go F themselves!

Called Chase Freedom customer service to see why my last month's payment was not credited, resulting in a $25.00 late fee plus interest.  I always pay my account in full each month, and have never missed a payment in the at least 15 years that I've had Chase Freedom.  Got someone in the Phillippines.  I asked for a representative in the U. S., and he said they didn't have any.  He said I'd have to speak to the Payment Resolution Department and gave me a number; however, this is Friday evening and no one will be there until Monday.  If they don't make some allowance for my good payment record (and excellent credit), and I get stuck with the late fee and interest, I'll immediately cut up my Chase card.  I'll cut it up anyway if I find out they have no customer service people in the U. S.

I get a 'Purchase Interest Charge' and it doesn't tell me what I purchased. I think we as citizens of the great us of a should bind together and maybe smack 'em with a civil suit. I got it through Amazon and thought they were a pretty good deal for a while, then I found out about the Payment Protection garbage.

Closed my account today. What happened to grace period? My due date was on 3rd of the month. For whatever reason they charged me $32 late fee on the 3rd!  How do you charge late fee the day it is due?

They could not answer that. Just that it was unfortunate my EFT from my bank didn't hit theirs until 24 hours too late! So no grace period are you F*** Kidding me?

DONE WITH THIS COMPANY THAT SCAMS Hard working people out of their money!

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt w.  Had 2 cc at 0% and chase at 11.99%. Asked them to do something to lessen the gap and flat said nothing they could do and to use the other cards.  I literally begged them to do something so I could spend money w them and they flat out did not care.  Spoke w some moron named Whitney who seemed more interested in taking a selfie then actually being a service rep.  I asked her what deal was better and she flat out admitted other companies.  We are doomed w these kind of employees    I'm saddened I can't even get a company to let me give them $10000

I know these post are old, bit for anyone thinking about getting a Amazon chase credit card don't do it. I have been using the credit card and then paying the full amount. So this time that I used it to pay a big purchase I'm seeing how horrible the credit card really is. For anyone looking to use it to get points Everytime you shop on Amazon and are able to pay it in full go ahead and get it, but making big purchases of 1,000 and up its not. I have made big chunks of payments and the amount I owe has not even gotten as small as it should due to interest and yes I missed a payment and it charged me the interest plus late fee. And it usually keeps charging interest. With charges like these I won't get it payed soon. I had another credit card I used and if I would've made a purchase with that one I would've been done with my payments. The charge is just crazy and I'm not happy at all.

We have lots of credit cards and thought we give chase a try. Had it one month and I'm cutting it up because customer service is idiots. [***] them. They don't need my business and we spend about 6,000 per month on credit cards. Too bad chase. Dumbasses.

I am done with chase credit cards, i will cut it up after i pay the balance. Had a representative who had a huge accent i couldn't even understand what she was talking about plus the background noises on her side was loud as hell i had to tell her to repeat herself multiple times. She also couldn't provide any good quality customer service at all. She's like oh you want me to stay on the phone with you while you check your account. Thats your [***] job to stay on the phone with customers and handle the situation and thats what they pay you to do. If you don't want to do it then quit !

Chase keeps charging me interest even though I pay my balance in full every month. Suppose I payed my bill on April 1 then made a purchase on my card on April 3 which is when the payments are due. They charge interest on that amount made on April 3 because it apparently before the due date.
