They are reported to be internal Chase collections calling from a call center in India. A number of reports are that they are handling WAMU credit card accounts taken over by Chase, with several reports of messed up payment records.
As always, if you have a Chase account, or they claim they are calling for your name, call Chase directly through a number you can verify, such as the customer service number from your card, or their corporate headquarters.
