Over-Billing and Refusal to Refund Years of Overpayments

I've been a longtime landline customer of AT&T in Florida. I just had my hours cut at work and am going through my monthly bills to see what can be cut. I spoke with AT&T [my landline provider] and they indicate that my Complete Choice service package was reduced in price "several years ago". My bill never reflected that discount and they have continued to overbill me and accept the overpayment for years.
They indicate that I should have called and asked for the discounted rate even though there was no change in service or notification from them.
I guess we should call our providers every month or so and ask if the services we maintain have been discounted [just in case].
Anyone who has the COMPLETE CHOICE plan should certainly call and check... you could all be overpaying as well.
