I pulled the latch and watched a "half-load" go through an entire cycle.  During the very tiny agitation, the clothing NEVER EVEN gets wet!!!!!!!!  Through the rinse cycle, yhe clothing NEVER gets wet!!!!!!   This mavhine is the biggest lemon probably EVER produced.  My problem?  It don't wash.   My problem, I bought the set brand new st Lowes.  It was an extra set for basement when Grand children come.  By the time we used it twice, and my children told me it wasn't cleaning, over a year went by, by the time I really dove into it, pulled the lock mechanism off the lid and reinserted it into the latch to make it run, I witnessed the clothing go through a complete cycle--and NEVER GET WET!!!!!  $600!!!  I want Maytag to replace this failure with a new machine!!  It is only right.  I emailed Maytag directly and have never heard back.

    Maytag Centennial doesn't deserve the name of Maytag .... Clothes still wet enough to almost wring out , twists clothing worse than with an agitator , clothes are not clean , don't get me started on the inadequate water level , cycle takes nearly an hour , unlocking is a joke , it's as if the washer controls us instead of being able to "use" the washer ....Have to use one at work but hate it ....I would never ever spend a dime buying one !
