They left me a message saying my account had been flagged to be processed in court. I called and spoke with Rick who said if I paid in full today it would not be sent. I asked for documentation proving I received a pay day loan, and he (Rick) said they attempted to send documentation since 2013. It came back to them.So, they refused to send proof.

    Typical shakedown scam..
    Evasion of demands for proof of an alleged "debt" are tactics used for deception and fraud, in violation of FDCPA.  Using an impending threat of a "lawsuit" if "paid immediately" (without proof), and saying "documents were already sent" (so they won't send them now), are both deceptive talk-offs commonly used in these shakedown scams.

    "Debt collectors" that engage in these tactics usually have good reason for doing so, such as the alleged "debt" is fake.
