I have been getting calls from this number frequently and no one was ever there until today. They say they are a mortgage company that will help you modify your mortgage and they work for government but when i asked them there name they can't tell you and none of them speak very good english. I was yelled at by the second person when he was asked a question so i hung up.Sounds like a scam.Caller: Mortgage Company
..."
Above complaint is consistent with some sort of mortgage reduction scam fraudulently pretending they are with the government.
Poor English also suggests fraudulent telemarketing.
Abusive and harassing calls are also consistent with attempting fraud or extortion.
If they are doing scam "mortgage reduction" then they are doing scam "debt collection".
These are not real debt collectors, and any debt they pretend they are collecting is fake, even if it sounds similar to some debt you might.remember. Do NOT give them any information.
Tell them you are recording the call for use by the FBI.
Or just hang up and ignore them.
They can't do anything but harass you, if you let them.
It's just a con.
