I received two phone calls today saying that I had been sent several notices regarding my credit card and this call will be my final notice. I pushed 1 to talk to the representative and told them in no uncertain terms NOT to call my number again. After the automated messages on the second callI, I pushed 1 again to talk to a representative. I took his name (Kenny) and the name of his company (Card Services). I then asked what number he was calling from and he responded  "The number on your credit card, dumb ass." I was dumbfounded and said "Did you just say what I think you said?" At that point he laughed in my ear and hung up on me. I dialed Star 69 and learned that the number the call was dialed from is 971-2201429. HANG UP THE PHONE IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM CARD SERVICES. IT IS A SCAM!

I have gotten mad at these people, but every time I do I let them go through their talk. This last time I caught the girl off guard because she was stumbling over her words. I have given them dead presidents SS#s and they take all the info as if it's real. Every time I receive a call (about once a month) I remind them that I am on the DNC and that I have reported them to the FTC. I also go online and block their number. Hoping that I can finally catch one of them into giving me some more info so I can finally get them to stop.

I received two calls over the last two days from FIA CARD SERVICES.

The first was a voicemail from 1-888-615-7168 claiming to be be making a "servicing request" on behalf of the Bank of America.

I answered the second call today from the same number.  That's (888) 615-71168.  The representative had my name and asked me for my mother's maiden name, social security number and date of birth.

I refused and called Bank of America fraud center, which had no record of this number but really didn't seem very interested.  No wonder the American banking system is such a mess, and fraud is rampant.

I conclude from what I read online today that FIA CARD SERVICES IS A SCAM.

I plan to make further reports to the Federal Trade Commission, FBI, my state attorney general and a number of other federal and state agencies.  I suggest you do the same.  Complaints by enough of us might get the FIA CARD SERVICES scumbags shut down and its owners and representatives sent to prison where they belong.

    BEWARE!!!

FIA Card Srvices is a real credit card company and claim no affliation with what they call
Credit Card Services as an Fake ID Theft/hacker.   But if so after five years why hasn't this large
company stomped Card Services out?. Calls to attorney general offices in nearby states(6) ALL
indicated if you close the FIA credit card-the calls will probably stop.   That worked.
Must be a ? new way of advertising by phone to avoid? the NOCALL list?

I received 3 calls from 888-615-7168 today, the first was automated and said to call back and the second two didn't leave a message.  It's obviously a scam as it doesn't it shows, "Toll Free" instead of Bank of America.

I have been receiving calls on my personal cell phone from this number for over one month. They claim to be a company called FIA card services, calling on behalf of Bank of America with an important "service issue". They immediately ask me to verify my personal information before they can give me any information.  The info they request has varied, but always includes a combination of two of the following items: my DOB, my mother's maiden name, the last four of my SS#, and my full mailing address.  Obviously this makes me uncomfortable so I do not give out any info and, in return, ask them to what this is in reference. They refuse to answer, saying that they cannot release any info without my verifying my identity.  I ask them to give me the last four digits of the card they are calling about but they will not do so. They ask if I would be more comfortable talking to their supervisor. When they ask this, I picture the scam artist sitting next to them on the couch, not a professional in a legitimate business office so I, of course, say no. I ask if they have a website I can visit to confirm their legitimacy and so that I call the number listed on the website. They do not have a website (even more suspicious in this day when even a 10 year old can have a website).  I have gone to my local Bank of America branch, that assured me there are no issues with my accounts and no alerts that would prompt a call. I then did some research, finding that FIA Card Services is supposedly wholly owned by Bank of America and I also found an enormous number of customer complaints and lawsuits against them. I called the Bank of America customer service phone number on my card and asked the operator to also look into my accounts and to complain about the FIA calls. The operator also assured me that, not only are there no issues with my accounts, but that none of my accounts are under FIA so there is no legitimate reason they should be calling me. I asked her to report the FIA behavior to her supervisors and she also suggested that I report FIA to the state attorney general, who would be responsible for investigating this type of potential fraud. I also did some research and found that the FTC also investigates these claims. I will be reporting them to both organizations.

    HARASSED
These people have called dozens and dozens of times for the past several months.  I DO NOT HAVE NOR DO I WANT EVEN ONE CREDIT CARD.  When I politely ask to be put on their "do not phone" list they just rudely hand up.  The government should put them out of business and prosecute them for harassment.  This is rediculous!!!

Call about lowering the rate on my Visa. I don't have a Visa card. Could not tell me who they are trying to reach then in a panic a man with an Indian accent said Gary. I told him this is Helen there is no Gary here (nor is there a Helen either.) He kept calling me sir and I corrected him and said "it's madame thank you" and "I have a cold" well then that vulgar trash-mouth man said, in his foreign accent "ok, then open (p word for lady organ) and f*** self!" How obscene, hardly any way to market a credit card, and over an international telephone line no less. What low lifes, no doubt such a call center has dirt floors and is filthy with dysentary and/or cholera. I felt compelled to lysol my telephone reciever after such an unsanitary connection.
