Cheapoair.com uses shady practices through odd charges

I have always used cheaptickets.com and love them. I've never had a problem. I tried cheapoair for the first time yesterday, and am sorry I did. First of all, I have 2 odd charges in my checking account this morning from them. Neither match the aggreed upon total price for airfare. I called today and found out that one of the charges for $23.90 was for a convienence fee to use their website to reserve a seat. I have never heard of this before and do not recall seeing anything that mentioned that it would charge me. What a silly thing when I can go directly on the airline's page and do this for free. I've never had to pay extra for such a service. They agreed to reverse it, but who knows if they will. I'll for sure be following up if they don't. The other charge was for $84.00. They said that because I agreed to a charge of $50 for insurance (which I did), they charge that separate, and also that they accidentally charged me the wrong amount for my tickets (which haven't even come through yet on my account so I don't know if this is true) so they tacked on the extra $34.00 that they missed on my ticket charge. This didn't make sense, but for now I'm buying it.
The thing that ticks me off the most is that I just went onto the airline's website to view my itinerary, and they said that the total fee paid with taxes was more than $50.00 less than what cheapoair.com says it is. This means that cheapoair charged me an extra $50 fee saying it was part of the airfare, when it was their own hidden charges. I understand booking agencies make a fee, but this is completely unheard of for me before. They made over a $50 profit!?! I've always booked through Cheaptickets and their price is almost always right inline with what the airline says it is, give or take $5 or $10. I feel completely ripped off and deceived. I feel that Cheapoair should be disclosing their booking fees clearly, as well as not charging my card 3 or 4 different times for a single transaction. It just all seems extremely shady and completely different than what I've experienced with other booking sites. I will never use them again.
