People from ER Solution keep calling and asking for me..im only 16! what would i possibly owe? LIke really people, get it together. Then as i told them i didnt think they had the right number, because they used my middle and last name, and not my first so i wasnt sure, the women replied "i'll guess this is the right number then" in a very rude tone, then added "buh-bye" and hung up. STOP CALLING ME!

Since she is insisting you are the person she is trying to reach, under FDCPA, she is required to send you a letter within 5 days notifying you of the alleged debt, identifying the alleged creditor, and notifying you of your right to dispute it and request validation.

If you don't receive any letter within 10 days, and particularly if they continue to harass you over some debt you don't even owe, file complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and the Washington Attorney General.

You might then seek the advice of an attorney.  Since FDCPA allows courts to award damages and attorney fees, you can often find attorneys who take these cases on contingency.  You might try www.naca.net to find a consumer attorney in your state.

Don't let some "erroneous" debt from a sleazy debt collector hang over you as you go off to college, when you might need to take out a student loan, rent an apartment, or buy a car on credit.  Deal with it now, when time is in your favor, and make them pay.

You can also have your parents notify them to cease contacting you.

If they continue, file a complaint with your local District Attorney for harassing a minor.
Maybe the possibility of a misdemeanor criminal conviction will get their attention.
