Crack in my ceiling in garage and broke my light

4 weeks after install my garage lights went out, looked up at ceiling and found long crack along side of my light fixture and several sheetrock pieces starting to crack.  Reported it to direct TV, they came out twice, took photos and showed me where the man stepped on the insulation (a footprint) and slipped into the sheetrock.  Said they would fix it, gave them an estimate of $300 for new light fixture and float the sheetrock.  They closed the case without contacting me saying this was "weather related".  Now they won't answer my calls or emails ....
