Expedia provides inaccurate information then times out so the price increases.

While booking a flight to attend my fathers funeral, I selected my flight and within 24 hours needed to make a change to the departing portion only leave a day sooner. I went to "My Trips" selected to manage my flight then proceeded to select my new date for departure. Website listed change for $85.00 I put in my CC and watched the dial spin for several minutes then to receive a timeout error. Thinking this was an issue on my end I attempted to log out using different browsers and attempt to change my flight 4 more time tried different CC nothing worked. Log in again now the price is $97.00 and I still can not get it to stop timing out. I have to call... get on the line with a representative who stated she has to make the changes and it will include a 200 dollar change fee for the airline plus Expedia charge?? Website and message state "Expedia never charges for changes" So why am I being charged 200 plus Expedia fee. I felt utterly lied to, and with the circumstances, this did not help my situation. What advertised is not what they will end up charging.
