Trying to get me to pay Spotlaon whom I do owe from 2-3yrs ago! Said he has civil suit against me,etc. Matt Conners is his name. 951-402-0151 is his #! Intimidating me to pay when i cant!

    You might owe someone, but you might not owe these jerks.

    FDCPA prohibits harassing, abusive, or deceptive collection, and requires that debt collectors send a letter within 5 days of first contact, notifying you of the alleged debt, and allowing you to dispute or request proof you owe it.  That's how you make sure you don't pay some scammer.

    The debt collectors that don't follow FDCPA are probably scammers, engaged in other sorts of illegality.  If there even is a "loan", they typically show up when there's something wrong with it, like the lender may be unlicensed in your state, or when a bunch of illegal "fees" have been piled on to inflate the "debt".

    Received a call from this number 915-402-0151 today.  This man is relentless.  He called my work number, my cellular number and I get a message from a co-worker of mine.  I don't have no idea who this man is and why he is calling practically the whole town looking for me.  I've checked numerous web-sites, this is a scam.  Don't fear him, he's human and he's a coward because his calls come in "Private" or "Unavailable."  If he can't reveal his phone number, he's obviously a coward!

    This guy is a joke! He's a scammer!  He like to threaten and hopefully someone will run him over for his bad mouth and accusations.
    Matt Conners is his name, probably not true since he doesn't reveal his number when he calls.  America should deports idiots like this and not people who make a honest living who mind their own business.  MATT CONNERS... GET A LIFE!

    This man, Matt Conners, called and when he calls, the Caller ID states "Unavailable." He goes on to state that there is a debt owed. This guy is an idiot and why hide your telephone number if you're supposed to be legit! He threatens but he's as human as everyone. Don't waste your time on giving this idiot time to talk, obviously he has nothing better to do!

    I received a call several times today and I'm literally tired of this person who calls himself Matt Conners.  I don't know who he is or what he is talking about.  He tries to talk in a threatening manner and ordering me to pay for something that I have no clue of.  I hope he gets hit by a car and suffers because it'll be karma over how he talks to people that he doesn't know.  Don't hide behind unknown phone numbers because you're running a scam and get a decent job like the rest of us!
