Fairly new Centennial washing machine stopping between cycles.

I have trouble shot the machine and it appears it needs a new main control panel.  My wife and I are not impressed with this defect problem that the company knows about.  An expensive part and the cost of a repairman absolutely rediculous.  Now my wife has to go to the local laundry mat and haul wet clothes back to dry them.  Not what customers expect when we have invested our money and trust into an apparently trustworthy brand name.
