Union Filing Services/ Union Management is collecting from my bank acct. money to pay my credit card dues which I defaulted. I am trying to contact them since they are not giving me confirmation nos. as agreed. All the telephone nos. i have on record are no longer in service. if any one can provide me their current no. i would appreciate it. n

They were part of a large debt collection scam that was sued by FTC back in October 2011.
They were basically running a debt collection "shakedown" racket, pretending to be calling as "process servers", and pretending to be "suing" to extort payments and evade consumer validation of the alleged "debts".
The assets have been frozen and are under management of a court appointed receiver.
The case is FTC v. Rincon, et al.
It is not clear whether any of the debt settlement agreements are even valid, or binding on consumers, as these "debt collectors" engaged in many violations of FDCPA, including illegal threats and deception, and FTC received numerous complaints that they were collecting on unowed debt.
The court appointed receiver may still be running automatic charges set up earler, but it is not clear whether this will continue, and the money is presumably going into a trust account until the case is resolved.
