I did a 3-month membership to PeopleLookup and next thing I know, $19.95 charges appeared on my bank statement.  I called and asked what I was being charged for, since I didn't sign up for anything. For "Fraud Protection".  Isn't that exactly what they are doing?  Fraud?  It is in my eyes.  The woman agreed to reverse 1 charge and said that I clicked a link on PeopleLookup and agreed to their scam Errr!!  Service.  I sent PeopleLookup a nastygram for being such scumbags as to let this happen

    Better close that account, or you might find additional charges in the future.  In the future, never use bank account numbers, debit or check cards to make any purchases.  Use only credit cards since the complications of closing them are less.  Use checks only to pay companies you know and trust, such as rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.

    Also intelius.com gives out your information to this company I just filed an complaint with the FBI's internet crime complaint site about this company and another one which both got their inform on me from Intelius. You may want to do the same at www.ic3.gov

    Contacted 24ProtectPlus and told them I was filing a complaint with the FBI and they just refund all the funds they had gotten out of my account. So they know their in the wrong.

    I got ripped off by this company too. I purchase to reports with intelius and I had 7 days to cancel the monthly charge. I only wanted the trail package. When I tried to cancell Tee the employee told me that I need an id so she could access my account. I never recieved an ID or email about it. Called again and they said I have to call back in 2 hours their system was down. Called again and I couldn't get ahold of them. Tried to search for number and all I seen was complaints about how this company is a fraud. I had to cancell my card and That cost me another 7 dollars.

    I  just cancell card and got new number and pin.
