If Allied Interstate or another debt collector has crossed the line by harassment, verbal abuse, improper contact with third parties, threats or other behavior, there is a quick and simple method to register a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection.

While FTC will not resolve an individual complaint, your report will factor into decisions to investigate or prosecute an offending company.

The process takes only a few minutes and it can be done online at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?lang=en

FTC reached a settlement with Allied Interstate a couple years ago, over abusive calling and attempting to collect from the wrong people.  Allied paid a $1.7 Million fine, and agree to comply with FDCPA.

As they are subject to an FTC settlement agreement, if you have any problems, contact FTC.
