I get a call from this number once or twice a week. I am on the do not call list. They have said they can lower interest rates on my credit card if they know my credit card number. They also want to know about my car registration.
When you call the number back, it says it is no longer in service. I talked with AT&T. It is not one of their numbers.

Contact FL's attorney general, and go to www.myflorida.gov.  You'll find a whole bunch of links and assistance.  I live in FL too, and dealt with these a**holes.  Needless to say, they don't call here anymore.  :)

They appear to be based in Florida.  File Do Not Call list violation complaints with FTC and Florida Attorney General.

I live in FL too, and here's what I've done against these people.  First, I contacted the donotcall list.  2nd, I contacted my attorney general.  Third, I contacted the FBI site. Great site to report this crap on.  4th, I went to www.myflorida.gov, which has great government help.  This company is a credit card scamming company.  Plain and simple.  Here's some great sites dedicated to finding out who people are, and fixing them for good.  http://heatherwithaccountservices.com/, www.whocalled.us, and https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-954-370-6846.  Check out the following post, from https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-954-370-6846.
"I got the call on my cell ...reversed the number (whitepages.com)...it's from Fort Lauderdale, FL...corner of west Broward blvd & n.w. 7th ave".  Here's another one:  just got this call from these people. I crossed my fingers, and pressed 1.
A woman answered quickly, saying the name of some company I didnt hear well enough to understand.
Her first words after that were: "Did you press 1 to recieve a lower interest rate?"  I said NO, I am wondering how you got my number, and why you are claiming to be from my credit card company. Who do you work for?
She replied "Sir, we work with the 4 major credit card companies: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American express".  I said,"But you Don't work for my specific credit lender, do you?". Surprisingly, she said No. I told her I am Not interested in any fraud she is trying to commit, and to take me off the calling list since I am on the national do not call registry.
She said OK and hung up".

These people are dangerous.  The more they're reported, the more trouble they will get in when investigated.  As a reminder, NEVER EVER give out your info, to anyone.  If they truly are legit, they will have NO problem sending you the info in writing that they're trying to get from you, and give you a phone number that you can research to absolutely make SURE that they're who they say they are.

    GOOD LUCK
