AWHILE AGO I SAW HSBC ON MY CREDIT REPORT AN I CALLED THEM AN THEY SAID THEY NEVER SENT ANYTHING TO THE CREDIT AGENCY. EXPEDIAN LOWERED MY SCORE ALOT AN THIS IS UNFAIR ID LIKE THIS LOOKED AT AN REPAIRED.

    Send a written dispute to the CRA disputing the alleged debt.  Mail it certified.  Include in your dispute that you do not owe HSBC, and that you have verified with HSBC that they do not show you owing them.

    The CRA is required to contact the data furnisher, who must either verify the listing, correct it, or remove it.  If the DF doesn't respond within 30 days, the entry must be removed.

    If you get a response back from the CRA that the entry was "verified", then you can hold the DF liable for their error.  Find a consumer attorney and look into suing for violations of FCRA.  You might try www.naca.net
