Factory Warranty Coverage Plan
Complaint

I have created this thread to allow consumers to post information pertaining to good and bad Automotive warranty companies.
Here is one to start..
If you have been screwed over by Genuine warranty Solutions (or another company) like I have this is a must do if they are not paying for a warranty claim that is suppose to be covered. I had the Factory Coverage plan in which they claim at http://www.genuinewarranty.com "Factory Coverage is just like it sounds -- a warranty that covers your automobile similar to when the auto was purchased brand new" NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Go the Better Business Bureau website and file your factual experience. This is only real way to stop companies from screwing consumers. Bad companies hate when this happens because they do not want the companies that sell or may consider selling their product too finding out. It’s fast and easy to do with lighting results. GO TO BBB.ORG and post your complaints. God Bless.

I use to work for the auto warranty company in Plantation, Fl you are correct about the scam. They make about $250,000 a week in deals scamming elderly people and individuals who have brought vehicles. They purposely target older individuals because of vulnerability. I quit because the environment was completely unprofessional, there are no background checks for employees, there are convicted felons who have disclosed to me that they steal credit card numbers and information from individuals.
I was absolutely shocked how they taught us in training how to treat customers. We were told to hang up if they ask for a supervisor, curse them out if they get upset, and lie to them saying we are going to take there name off the list.
I only stayed for a week. I'm an honest person and it was unbearable hearing people as old as 93 begging and pleading for the phone calls to stop. I'm going to inform my local tv station, this place needs to be shut down. We read from scripts, lying about how long we have been in business and that we are affiliate with numerous manufactory and dealerships nationwide and in Canada. We even have to lie about what we cover for people's cars.
...
The company uses an auto dialer system in which a recording is played and you have two options; press one for a rep, or two to be taken off the list. Pressing one for a rep, we basically ask you for your make, model, mileage, and year of your vehicle. Afterwards we start the lying immediately, asking for your number just in case we get disconnected, when we really are pulling information about you through whitepages.com. We read from scripts telling ALL customers that there vehicle warranty has expired even if they brought a brand new vehicle. We may be based in Plantation,Fl but the number we have on everyone's caller ID are from Detroit, Michigan.
They tell us to sell urgency, to lie and tell the customer that your manufacture and dealer of your vehicle informed us that your warranty has expired and that this your last and final call(which it isn't). $50 bucks a deal. When people try to cancel
them, they still charge their credit cards. I have several people nationwide whom have protested to this and are trying to take legal action to no avail because the number is untraceable.
They won't sell to anyone in Florida because they fear being found. Even the number is bogus, for Miami the only area code being used are 954, 305, 754, and 561. When a customer asked me where our location was and I informed her, a closer yelled saying how we aren't suppose to tell and if they ask avoid answering or hang up.
The quality of people, services offered, and that sense of urgency is bogus!!! Please people be smart, if you want an extended warranty speak with your dealership first because I quit this job because of the obvious scam we were taught to do to innocent people. If you see this information on your phone RUN!!!!

I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.
If they are not registered or licenced, this is consumer fraud.

I had to use this warrenty 1 week after I got the car. I was told it would coer bumper to bumper. The endgine light in my explorer went on. I had to take to the dealer. It cost $200 + dollar to fix. The warrenty company said nothing was broken so they are not responsible to fix. The running board motor burned out and the hinges needed to be replaced. they told jme that is one of the few things they do not cover. I tried to cancal my warrenty with them but they told me I have to contact the dealer. Never again will I fall for this.

There is no such thing as aftermarket warranty, if you can own a 50,000 to 2,000,000 Automobile and a 35,000,000 dollars boat, If you are capable of paying 8,000 to 20,000 dollars of Automobile insurance a year for one or two cars I after I bought my first Rolls-Royce this is what I learn these guys can run away with your monies all day long but not the dealership where you purchase the motorcar at point is they will cover you for up to 4 years with the car so by the time I reach 3 years six months and not the mileage I will go in trade it for a new model of that year or coming year with another brand new factory warranty, moreover what I learned from buying motorcars is that if you pay 25,000 for one make sure you have 75,000 in savings for repairs and maintenance meaning if you are paying 25,000 make sure you have a total of 100,000 for before your purchase this is how I see it. Remember you did not get to make 100,000 Dollars+ a year by throwing away money or become a millionaire by doing so, if you can purchase a 250,000 plus valued car and pay close to 40,000+ of insurance for it within a span of four years think again, when you trade it in and get a new one remember the dealer will re-extend that warranty for the next person who want to buy it but at the same you trade in value will cause you a lost of money plus what is spend on insurance, just like you use your brain to make your money use your brain to defend what you have already have.

In that case your giving away and they'll be fools and Imbeciles not to take what you are giving away.
By the way I'm only 24 and seat down and think and you all should be able to do likewise. The more careless you guys are the more these fools will take out of your pockets. I'm not old and wise enough to advice those older and maybe younger than me, just follow what I'm about to do, If you plan to spend 4,000 to 20,000 dollars for extended warranty for your motorcar (s) do yourself a favor select about 20+ companies that is worth looking of doing business with get a good lawyer to decipher the policies for you and an Investigator a licensed one uncover you the bad deeds on those companies before you do business with them, And remember BBB is so full crap they even sound like scams alone. And that should cost you about 1,500 dollars plus the Warranty you are looking at 5,500 to 21,500 if you looking to spend that much on warranty for 5 years to 10 years like me it is worth it.
