I returned the rental after using it for 2 weeks while my car was being repaired. I left the car unattended in their lot while I drove my husband to his car. I returned and saw my name was crossed out. I checked in again. The lot person looked the car over and stated their was damage to the Rocker panel. There was a black mark by the wheel well (did some one kick it?). There was a scratch underneath. He said I have to take this to my Manager.
Devrysha Rodgers the manager proceeded to yell at my inside demanding my $1000. deductible , She was loud rude and intimidating. I said I was calling my INS , she said they don't work w insurance. I walked out and took a picture of the damage and called my ins.
A month later they sent a bill for $802,including $100 admin fee.  and a itemized bill including replacement of glass.  What? a scratch underneath the wheel panel ?
I never got a paper when I rented from them, everything was on a tablet .
I wonder how to fight this. I wasn't in an  accident in their car and drove it about 15 minles a day max.
These are puffed up charges from a unprofessional manager who yelled and got angry when I didn't cave to her.
