I know at first glance reading an email where the intention is to have you arrested can be upsetting. But keep your cool and report these incidents. Everyone can help, first off do not respond to the email. Second thing, report this and forward the email to the FTC (Federal Trade Comission). By taking just five minutes to do that hopefully you along with myself can stop these people from from taking anymore money from someone else. This is the first email I have ever received with this type of scam, although I have received multiple phone calls over the last year. Except I made the mistake and paid these horrible people close to 3K, when I first experienced this type of scam. At the time I was scared at first and wasn't thinking straight. The fear and threat of being arrested was too overwhelming. The phone scam people even went so far as to place a call to me when I first refused to pay them and in the caller ID the number 911 appeared. And a man on the other line said he was from the police and asked if I was at home, so that he could direct the police to where I was so that they could arrest me within the hour. These people are bullies and have no morals.
I hope all of this information I have given will help you to have a little piece of mind that no one is coming for you, you will not be arrested, and no one is coming for you at your work.
