Calls from 866-904-7796 trying to get checking account information

This company calls you from 866-904-7796 and tries to get you to give them your checking account information and promises a three day trip and a shopping spree for $1000.00 and all you are required to do is pay $1.99 for the shipping and handling.

The guy was really interested in my checking account number. I refused to give it.  He then asked for me to write a check to his company. When I told him to send the paperwork first he assured me that I could hold the check but then started asking for the bank name, check number, and account number.

Beware and do not give anything to these callers.

    Got sms from 1-866-904-2270 about  wachovia check card. I do not have a Wachovia check card.

    My office just got a fax offering 6 days and 5 nights with all meals included for only $199 per person in a 4-5 star resort in Cancun, Mexico.  All meals and drinks included 24 hrs a day.  Children stay and eat for free.  It had a phone number for booking and reservations (866) 904-6405.  I googled the number and found this site.

    I RECEIVED  A FAX 9/29/10 I CALLED THE # BECAUSE I WA WAS CURIOUS & IT SAYD NO AVAILABLE & HANGES UP

    I got a text that said this wwas a "secret shopper" thing, my husband got the sam etext, we are not interested or never requestes to be "ceret shoppers"  Obviously a scam;

    This call came to us about 2 months ago and would just not leave us alone! They mailed us a paper saying ' Three day vacation, $1000 shopping spree, or a BMW! '

    We called them, and they asked for our bank info. We just hung up then. Then they called us every 10 minutes. So annoying. -.- DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
