I was online trying to get my credit report as was advertised
Never received credit report, but a few days later on my bank
statement I was charged $l.00 and an additional $29.95. I have
been unable to get resolved, and am now continuously charged
every month for a service I didn't require or authorize.

I want this to stop.

Contact your bank immediately to dispute all unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and close the account to prevent future fraudulent charges.  Follow up by sending your dispute IN WRITING to the dispute address on your bank statement, and make sure they get your written dispute in less than 60 days from the statement date showing the fraudulent charge to preserve your FRB Reg. E dispute rights.

See here for how to gt your free annual credit report as authorized by federal law.

    This is the site.

All other commercially advertised offers are NOT FREE even when they advertise them as "free".  They charge for some service.

Many are deliberately creating confusion to deceive consumers who may have heard that they can get their reports for free.  FTC has repeatedly sued several for deceptive advertising.
