Harassing phone calls
Complaint

Country: United States
For the better part of a year I have been receiving harassing phone calls from this company while being on the national Do Not Call List. They hang up if you tell them to remove you from their call rotation. After having this happen for such a long time I have resorted to just dog cussing them when they answer. I have found that they tend not to hang up but sit and listen while I attempt to get my point across that I do not want them to call me. Yesterday I had another one of these call and as usual I cut loose with a string of profanities that any sailor would have been proud of but this time the female that was on the other end joined right in and attempted to give as good as what she got. The call originated from Vermont and after she hung up I got another call that showed from Pontiac Mi. and it was her again and we dog cussed each other for several more minutes before she hung up on me again. She called me 5 times in a row doing the same thing but on the last call she told me that she know where I lived and she was going to come to my house and F*ck me up. I told her to bring it on and then she hung up.
I have called the Federal Trade Commission and found out that they do not intervene on anyone's behalf but only document these compliant call in a data base, I also called the Alabama Public Service Commission who instructed me to contact my state and US legislators regarding this issue. I also called my State Attorney Generals office and was told that they could not do anything and to stop talking to these people and they would stop calling me. I know that this is not true because they call my house all the time and my wife never answers the phone. So now I am in the process of contacting my legislators and seeing what can be done to stop these calling practices. I now know that the Do Not call directory is only good for companies that are legit but does not work for companies that are [***] like credit card services. Call your State and US legislators and complain that the Federal Trade Commission is not doing their job......
