Direct TV - the worst!

Direct TV could possibly be worse than Comcast and Verizon. I signed up for direct TV in January, I live in Florida where there was little rain in January. Now that it is rainy season, it rains heavily every day and we loose service. Everytime! They sent a technician then tried to charge me for a service call . It rained once since, and we lost service. Now they won't let me out of my contract! Does anyone have any suggestions? Seems like I should be able to cancel since it doesn't work in the rain, especially since that it when we watch TV the most!
