Phone scam

I get these calls too.  Until we have tougher enforcement of the laws, the only way to avoid the calls is to add the number to your contacts list and name it "do not answer" or "scam" or something that will remind you to not answer when the call comes in. Trying to defeat them by keeping them on the line or supplying false info is just a waste of your time.
You may wind up with multiple numbers for an aggressive operation like Card Services, but at least you won't waste your time and cell phone minutes talking to them.
