Scam

Received an email saying that I owed four thousand something dollars from March 2015. I emailed  them back to send me the proof.  They asked me to email somebody if I wanted to settle out of court.  No deal. I knew it was a scam from the beginning because I never borrowed thing from the.  I wanted to know where was the money deposited.  Haven't heard from them yet.
