Claim Denial

Mechanic states pistons caused engine problem and claims person states not covered. Called customer service and Shane spoke with claims, called me back and stated its covered and rea to my brother and I in the contract. He than stated they want me to pay and have the engine torn down. What should my next step be? Thanks
