The introductory statement read: "Dear Barclaycard US visitor: Complete the short survey to receive your exclusive gift of up to $121.74 cash value" I selected a watch and paid the $5.99 shipping fee. I made the mistake of giving them my credit card number. Yesterday, a charge for $98.00 appeared on my Barclaycard statement. Barclaycard refused to disallow the $98.00 on the basis that PUM*The FashionLux terms and conditions (which were nowhere to be seen in their solicitation) stated that their "trial policy requires you to understand certain important dates. Try it for 14 days to enjoy the jewelry and if for any reason the this item is not for you, call our CustomerCare toll free at 855-857-0962 within your 14 day trial period to cancel. If you are satisfied, do nothing and you agree to be charged $98.00. Plus you agree to be enrolled in our monthly VIP membership program where 45 days from your initial order date and every 30 days thereafter, you will receive a new jewelry item......." THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM and I intend to do something about it!!!

This "watch-a-month" club is a complete scam. Look at Better Business Bureau complaints/resolutions regarding Fashion Lux. Some complainants DID get their refunds for the junk watches sent to them and were responsible ONLY for the $5.99 S/H fee to which they agreed. Has anyone on this site been successfully in satisfactorily resolving their issues???
