FL Tolls $1.45, "Administrative Fee" $75

I rented from EZ at Miami International Airport in March, returned the car the next day and paid $18 --- and got a new charge for $76.45 weeks later: $1.45 for tolls, and $75 "administrative fee.". All Miami area tolls are now by Sun Pass, or auto-pay toll transponder (which, of course, EZ rents). As an out-of-towner, I'd expected to pay cash for the tolls, but there are no toll stations. EZ turned my account over to an aggressive collection agent when I queried the charge. The collection agent threatened my credit report repeatedly, but did eventually send me a photo of the car and its toll account -- including tolls for days when I did not rent the vehicle -- and pointed out that the EZ contract says they'll charge a $25 administrative fee for "unpaid tickets." Since I'd had the car when the tolls were incurred, I paid -- but this is clearly a regular scam. I will not rent from EZ again, and warn everyone else too to stay away from this dishonest, exploitative company!
