During my last semester in college I had problems with my complexion that motivated me to try proactive. I agreed to try the vitaclear vitamins for free with my starter kit from proactive. I saw minor improvements from the proactive and vitamins so I ordered the extra strength proactive and the sales rep on the phone didn't tell me that the next supply of regular strength was already on its way. All of a sudden I had regular strength proactive, extra strength proactive, and vitaclear vitamins show up. I called and cancelled everything, sent back the vitamins (that I was now being charged for) and regular strength proactive, yet kept the extra strength proactive. After graduation I went on vacation for a while and 6 months later I get an email saying that the vitamins are going to collections unless I pay, no calls, no snail mail, just an email 6 months later!!!!! When I called they said they never received the packages and I owed the balance for both the vitamins and regular strength proactive. I called UPS and they said its unheard of to lose two packages in one transaction, not to mention they were going to the same entity....guthy skank-er, its impossible that neither package arrived!!!!!! This is a total scam and they should be ashamed of themselves...people are trying to better their lives, increase confidence etc by trusting their brand-name and [***] celebrities but many are left feeling like a chump ie. yours truly. My advice is to 1) never ever support guthy renker and inform others that do to STOP!! 2) always insure and/or get a confirmation of delivery for packages sent back to guthy-renker 3) reduce the amount of dairy you consume...this helped my complexion more than proactive or those [***] vitamins ever could!!!!!! The offer on the website for $19.95 per month refers to the Proactiv® 3-piece kit. Our records indicate that you opted for the Proactiv® 5-piece kit, therefore making the monthly cost $29.95. Per the terms of the online offer, your second Proactiv® shipment was sent on October 11, 2012 for a total of $99.84 to be billed in three installments over three consecutive billing cycles. The first payment of $39.94 (included $9.99), was charged at the time of shipping, leaving a balance of $59.90. In an effort to fully resolve this matter, I have issued a refund of $39.94 and cleared the $59.90 balance. This credit will show as two separate transactions, one in the amount of $29.95, and the other for $9.99 (s&h). Please allow 3-5 business days for this credit to post.
