SSS maternity benefit

Hi I had a miscarriage/abortion last April 6,2016 upon the advise of my supervisor I file a maternity leave however up until now they haven't submitted the documents claiming that they need more docs I did send the necessary documents however the answer that I got from our hr team is they are afraid SSS will return it due to lack of documents I said they should atleast try to submit it atleast we know if SSS will decline it or not however up until now I'm about to go back to work they are still not submitting it even the maternity notification...they said I should be aware during maternity leave company will not pay me anything I said I'm aware of that it's bec SSS will cover it
