unjustified withdrawal of 1200€ from our credit card; delayed/withheld reimbursement

I would recommend to avoid Europcar Malta at any cost. We were involved in a traffic accident without our fault. Still, EuropCar Malta withdrew 1200€ from our credit card. They have repeatedly confirmed that according to the warden and police reports the accident was not our fault and repeatedly announced reimbursement of an outstanding amount of 600€, which for almost a year did not arrive.
We will not rent a car from Europcar Malta again!
